In 2014, Shigeru Ban was awarded the Pritzker Prize, the highest accolade for architects.

Ban's buildings are characterised by the simplicity of traditional Japanese architecture, which he reinterprets with western influences.

Battista Giudici


Giudici Battista completed an apprenticeship as a locksmith. He was a successful athlete, participating in artistic gymnastics in the 1928 Olympic Games in Amsterdam. Together with his brother Gino, he founded the Fratelli Giudici workshop in Locarno.
