BassamFellows

BassamFellows is ‘Craftsman Modern’. Craig Bassam and Scott Fellows are committed to bringing true craft and beauty back to contemporary living.

Their credo: nature is a central element of luxury living and contemporary design can also be synonymous with extraordinary quality, craft and warmth. BassamFellows developed their specific aesthetics as a counterpart to trend-driven, mass-produced designs.

The result: simple and sustainable products that celebrate the luxury of craftsmanship. BassamFellows launched their first collection at the 2003 Salone Internazionale del Mobile in Milan. Since then, the company has gone on to become one of the leaders in the craft movement.

The New Yorker Scott Fellows is a born creative director. He merges business and brand strategy expertise with a keen eye for products and design and with a talent in communication. In 1987, he graduated in business administration, industry management and costume design from the Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh. In 1993, he completed his MBA in Harvard and started to work for the Ferragamo luxury brand.

In 1998, Fellows founded the brand strategy company Image Fellows, specialising in the luxury goods sector. As part of a consulting contract, in 1999, he became creative director at Bally and successfully turned the company around. In 2003, he partnered with Craig Bassam to found BassamFellows.
